I/O Expansion Unit with 5 I/O slots FEATURES: By implementing external serial expansion racks, users are able to easily implement a greater amount of I/O onto an existing industrial control infrastructure. I-87K5 has a serial bus (RS-485) communication interface with DCON protocol. It is equipped with one power module, and 5 Input/Output slots. It is used to expand I/O modules via the RS-485 interface. RF communication module with one slot of i-87k series I/O modules Introduction The RF-87K series controllers feature a direct sequence spread spectrum RF technology, which removes the requirement to license frequencies from the government. The operation is in the ISM band with a frequency range of 2410.496 MHz to 2471.936 MHz, and the channel spacing is 4.096 MHz. The data transfer rate is 9600 bps. The wireless capability is especially convenient when wiring is very difficult or even impossible in applications. The RF-87K wireless transmission controllers perfectly integrate with the various 87K I/O modules and provide solution for various applications. Like other modular products of ICPDAS, the external power cables do not need to provide for every individual module in the same station; therefore, the wiring of power supply is very simple. You can choose what you need from various 87K I/O modules to implement your application. Four different main controller modules, RF-87K1, RF-87K2, RF-87K5, and RF-87K9, are provided for users to meet your requirements. The system consisting of these modules is both scalable and flexible. The software supports both our DCON and Modbus protocols, is simple to use and can easily be adapted to your system. These features ensure your investments when your system is growing bigger and becomes more complex. The RF-87K series products are DIN rail-mountable and have frame ground for easy installation and safety. In order to reduce the complicated setting processes during the installation of wireless products, many configurations are set by default values and only the communication channel is selectable. You can switch to different channel if communication conflict exists between your device and other's wireless devices. Many distribution systems need long distance communication, such as the water treatment systems, traffic light control systems, irrigation systems, and etc. We provide many accessories to increase the transmission range for such applications.
